INT. HELICOPTER HANGER -- DIMLY LIGHTED

The hanger is unlike any hanger you've seen before. Helicopters are lined up on trolleys to the hanger doors, in preparation of being shot out onto the elevator floor. The floor slopes down toward the wall with the hanger doors, so gravity will help the trolleys move the choppers.

The choppers themselves are a mixture of scout copters and gunships. All of the civilian (or at least legal) helicopters are kept in a more accessible location, while these combat aircraft await the emergency so great, the law school patio will open and set them free...

Still, the big airlock door in the back of the hanger does seem to suggest that these aircraft occasionally escape by other means, as well. There is a big flatbed semi sitting by the airlock, dwarfed by the huge metal door. A Night Hawk sits on the flatbed, props collapsed for transportation. A portable generator roars on the floor next to the semi, charging something under the Night Hawk's hood. Oddly, there are maintenance tools scattered around the floor as though they had been dropped in a hurry. There is no sign of anyone around in the dim hanger.
