EXT. LAW SCHOOL DRIVE -- DAY
The law school is perched near the steep peak of the mountain. A wide stone patio on the front of the building has a stunning view of the Pacific, and sightseers' cars line the school drive near the street entrance to the patio. The law building itself is seven huge stories of glass on the front, but only two stories in the back. Clearly, if a whole law school meets in this building, a considerable amount of it must be underground.
Across the street from the law school is a stucco building with curving sun decks and palm trees that give it a distintly hotel-like air.
There is a small parking lot behind the law school, partially obscured from the drive by dense shrubs and tropical trees. There is an automatic ID-reading security gate at the entrance to the lot.
