INT. OFFICE HALLWAY -- DIMLY LIGHTED
The carpet is all torn up, and the faculty secretaries' lobby/office at one end of the hallway looks to be gutted. It seems there's some major remodeling going on. Now where are all the workers?
The hallway is lined with ... you guessed it ... office doors. The elevator comes up in a small alcove near the middle of the hallway.
