EXT. SKY -- DAY

The chance comes quickly, and you act without thinking. You straighten out, hit 200 m.p.h., turbines screaming, then bury the tail and lunge vertically like a rocket launch. Pulling your chin off your chest, you suddenly feel light as a feather. The horizon comes drifting in from the top of your windshield, and you brace yourself as the chopper slowly completes its loop. The massive rotors catch hold, and you see stars as gravity and deacceleration crush you back into your chair. The ground rushes up to catch you, but its grasp comes short by feet as the Blackhawk leaps forward once more.

The helicopter in pursuit swerves violently, then pulls up sharply to avoid cratering the California topsoil. For several moments, it falls further behind.
